How to use this full virtual piano simulator?
While you can click on each key with your mouse or trackpad, the most convenient way to play this virtual piano is by pressing the associated keys on your computer keyboard.
C3 (Do) is played by pressing Tab
C#3 (Do#) is played by pressing 1
D3 (Re) is played by pressing Q
D#3 (Re#) is played by pressing 2
etc…
Play Chords!

This is the only full virtual piano we found that lets you play chords pressing one key. The keys in row A, S, D and row Z, X, C are programmed to play white key chords for rich melodies.
C3 (Do) is played by pressing Caps Lock
D3 (Re) is played by pressing A
E3 (Mi) is played by pressing S
F3 (Fa) is played by pressing D
etc…
The sustain pedal
Another reason why we liked this keyboard is because it allows you to toggle the sustain pedal on and off and keep the sound for longer without you having to hold your finger on the key. Just check or uncheck the sustain checkbox to activate or deactivate it.

You can record your masterpiece to hear it later or even to put it in another music software of your choosing.
If you are on an Apple computer, you can use the audio recording option in Quicktime. You’ll just need to install a free tool named Soundflower in order to record your system audio. Here you have an extensive guide on how to set it up.
If on the other hand you are on a Windows computer, you can use Stereo Mix (usually supported by default). Follow these instructions.
