The following guide should work for both Ubuntu and Debian Linux or any other systemd system. Make sure to follow this guide in the exact order of execution. Let's get started by modifying systemd's docker start up script.

Download a Docker Image in Ubuntu. To run a Docker container, first, you need to download an image from Docker Hub – provides free images from its repositories. For example, to download a Docker image called CentOS 7, issue the following command. What we'll end up with at the end of this document is the Docker client running on Linux (WSL) sending commands to your Docker Engine daemon installed on Windows. So, open you Ubuntu bash console.

The installer includes a glibc, libstdc++ (static) x86_64 build, and completely static Android NDK builds (bionic libc, LLVM libc++) for x86, x86_64, ARMv6+, ARM64. On x86_64 it will try to use the glibc build first and fall back to the Android NDK build if that does not work.

Image backups cannot be restored while the system is running. Therefore following live system can be used:

Either burn it with any program (e.g. Nero, CDBurnerXP) or create a USB stick e.g. with Linux Live USB Creator. To restore an image boot from the CD/USB stick.
